| 英文描述 | All species of DATURA including thornapple, jimsonweed (DATURA STRAMONIUM), and trumpet vine are poisonous and contain alkaloids such as atropine, hyoscyamine, and scopalamine. Humans may use the seeds for a hallucinogenic effect, and animals may thus be exposed to the seeds. Signs are similar to signs of atropine overdose. Dx is by history, or detection of the alkaloid in the urine. Direct eye contact with part of DATURA STRAMONIUM can cause mydriasis in that eye and anisocoria. |
